Vermithor Eurorack Cabinet

Vermithor, a towering 9-row eurorack cabinet, with two 1U Intellijel format rows tagging along for the ride. This spectacular specimen, named after the third largest dragon, features a profile unlike our standard Artist Series cabinets and a unique inlay design. Each row is ergonomically located for easy access, and the open floating-back layout keeps your modules cool. These cabinets are absolute show stoppers and will become the centerpiece of your synth-based studio.

Our double-wides are more than just two cabinets side by side. They offer shared power access across the back, a seamless transition between each side, and a pure symmetrical look that accentuates the beauty of the Needham Woodworks aesthetic. You will be amazed at the wow factor when you see one of our systems in a room for the first time.

Eskatonic Modular internal power

Everything needed to power each row with 16 headers: mounting boards, cables and a custom power plate. Your cabinet arrives with power installed and tested, ready for your modules. Power runs from DC bricks, and we offer both 7A and 9.6A types. For our double-wides we highly recommend two 9.6A bricks per side (4 total).

The Illuminator for double-wide cabinets

Recessed RGB LED lighting that fits seamlessly into the top of the cabinet. Adjust the color and intensity with the remote, or connect it to a CV light control module such as the Doepfer A-197-3. A 12V power brick is included, and it is also available bundled with a utility shelf.

Chromaesthetic lighting for double-wide cabinets

A programmable LED lighting system developed to go beyond ordinary RGB lighting, to simply illuminate or to inspire creativity. The Wi-Fi enabled, networkable controller is live-codable from a web-based editor on your phone or computer: it ships with dozens of patterns, you can pick from hundreds more, or write your own in a simplified JavaScript and watch the LEDs update as you code. Controllers can be networked for larger setups, with support for 2D and 3D pixel mapping.

Chromaesthetic diffuser baffles mix the raw RGB output so it is easy on the eyes. The package includes the lighting system, a handmade solid wood awning, the Chromaesthetic controller and a power brick, installed on your cabinet before delivery.

ATwin cabinet legs and desk

Round-profiled legs handcrafted from ash and stained with a deep black dye, integrated into a solid walnut frame. The frame is collapsible and uses Festool Domino connectors for rock-solid joints and easy disassembly and reassembly. The back leg design is inspired by a renowned electronic musician's logo. The drawer shown in the photos is available on double-wide leg sets as the ATwin Psyro.

Delivery

For eco-friendliness, cabinets are delivered wrapped in our blanket, which we take back after delivery. Shipping is arranged and paid for directly through our trucking partner. Local pickup is available in the San Francisco Bay Area and includes a tour of our woodworking shop, the oldest dedicated woodworking space in San Francisco.
